NPLH is a dedicated staffing agency with a passion for ensuring compassionate, high-quality care for hospices and their patients. No Place Like Home believes to be the best qualified to handle all of hospice's professional needs with a near certainty to have a nurse anywhere in the Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston areas in 90 minutes. No Place Like Home obtains licensed RNs, LVNs and CNAs. We play a pivotal role in recruiting, onboarding, and managing teams of skilled healthcare professionals who serve our patients and their families.

Our Story

No Place Like Home was developed in 2006 by Bruce Huckabee, who has obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and his RN. With over 2 decades of experience, Bruce started NPLH because he saw a growing need of supplemental staffing for hospices, particularly, the continuous care aspect. Our agency is committed to supplying strong and highly qualified staff who are also empathetic and dedicated to delivering quality end of care life.

NPLH has grown every year since 2006. In 2015, No Place Like Home expanded to staff major cities all across Texas and hopes to continue growing! We provide a range of staffing services, from registered nurses to home health aides.

WHAT IS HOSPICE?

Hospice cares for the person, not the disease.  Hospice reaffirms life, focuses on dignity, brings comfort and quality to the remaining months, weeks, and days.  Hospice does not hurry death.  Hospice does not prevent death.

Hospice is a team of health professionals caring for the patient, and relieving anxiety for the caregiver/family.  Our hospice nurses are skilled in pain and symptom management.  Our Hospice support team helps patients and families with personal care, social, emotional and grief issues.

Hospice is not a place, but a philosophy of care based on a whole person concept of living and dying.  It is a unique health care approach in which the patient and family, not the disease, are the focus.
